In 2015, a fire at a night club in Bucharest, Romania left 27 dead and 180 injured. Many of those injured died later in hospitals from wounds that were not life threatening, which prompted journalists, whistleblowers, and others to investigate and uncover fraud and corruption in the health sector.

There are stories of fraud and corruption in health care all around the world. How can we identify them? And how can we pursue anti-corruption efforts in the health sector? Marius Ungureanu, director at the Center for Health Workforce Research and Policy at Babeș-Bolyai University in Romania, addresses both of these questions in this webinar.
