Elisama W Daniel is a lay minister, teacher, and preacher of the Gospel. He is the Executive Director of ACROSS, a Christian organization based in South Sudan (also in Uganda and Kenya) working to transform lives and communities through partnership with the global church, other organizations, and the communities they serve. He is also a PhD candidate at the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies (OCMS) and Middlesex University, conducting part-time research on ‘Grand Corruption and State building’ investigating the mediating role of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan.

Elisama previously worked as Head of Development for Open Doors (Sudan), was Founding General Secretary of FOCUS Sudan (Affiliate of IFES), and was Director of Relief and Emergency, then as deputy Country Director, with Operation Mercy of Operation Mobilisation (OM) – Humanitarian and Holistic Development. He also served as Lecturer of Genetics and Animal Breeding at Juba University.

Elisama has been working to face national issues and challenges as a Christian, especially on Good Governance, Leadership and Integrity. He lives in Juba, South Sudan, and his family (wife and four children) live in Kampala, Uganda.
